High Protein Flapjack Recipe
This is a recipe For Protein Flapjack that I’ve altered and adapted over the last year depending on my training goals, the following recipe would be ideally suited to somebody looking for a healthy snack to promote lean gains.
Ingredients Required
300g Porridge Oats
8 Egg Whites
30g Salt/Sugar Free Organic Peanut Putter
5 Scoops of Whey Protein
2-3 Tablespoons of Flaxseed Powder
2-3 Tablespoons Stevia Natural Sweetener
40g Dried Berries
A handful of Fresh Blueberries
Ground Cinnamon
Dessicated Coconut
Low Calorie Spray Oil
600ml Cold Water
A Baking Tray
A large Bowl/Wooden spoon
A Blender
Directions
Preheat the oven to Gas Mark 6/7 or 200 Degrees
Pour the 600ml of cold water into the blender, add the Egg Whites, Peanut Butter, Stevia, Protein Powder & Flaxseed then blend for about 15-20 seconds.
Pour the mixture into a large bowl and add the Oats, Berries & Blueberries then stir until the mixture is nice and thick.
Generously coat the baking tray in spray oil.
Pour the mixture into the baking tray and evenly spread across the tray, sprinkle the Cinnamon and Coconut over the top then place in the oven on the middle shelf for about 1hour, after 1 hour take the tray out and leave to cool for another hour.
Now you get to commence battle with the washing up….. :(

This is a rough guide as some ingredients will vary, however as a rough guide, 1 tray cut into 16 evenly sized pieces will provide:

15g Carbs
5g Sugar
15g Protein
7g Fats
